Date Night

Last night was date night! We had fun at Paul Martin’s happy hour (where I had a delicious mushroom burger!)

…and a movie. And maybe even some late night shopping at Target πŸ™‚
So we did see the Big Wedding. And honestly, it was entertaining. Though crude and unoriginal. Take Mama Mia, License to Wed and Something’s Gotta Give – then wrap them all together (without the singing, I guess), and that’s what this movie is like. Plus some terrible language and a less than heartwarming ending…so, I give it like a 5.5 out of 10. Maybe. I wouldn’t see it again, but we used some gift cards we had left over, so no harm-no foul.
Sometimes I like to dress up a little for date night πŸ™‚ Here’s how I recreated my outfit on Polyvore!Date Night

Tuesday Afternoon

Spring is here and summer’s coming! I’m seriously thrilled. The Sacramento area really only has two seasons: hot and cold, but there are a few weeks of mild weather thrown in simply to keep us all sane ;). And during those mild weeks, this is what I like to wear:

Tuesday Afternoon

Coral is such a generally flattering color. Ruined denim is making a come back. And those sandal?
Love <3 Yes, Tuesday Afternoon is a random Moody Blues song. So what?

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is coming up! Any plans? I personally love Valentine’s Day. Just romance me and I’ll be the happiest Valentine ever.
I’ve only been asked to be someone’s Valentine once. There was a boy who lived on my street and was a few years younger than me, but he made me the cutest card and everything. I think I was in 5th grade.
Here’s a little number inspired by V-Day:

Valentine's Day

Just inspiration. I would never spend $915 on a cardigan…even if it is cashmere πŸ™‚
even&odd summer day dress, $54 / Derek Lam cashmere cardigan, $915 / Accessorize ballerina flat / Wendy Nichol stud earrings / Bangle bracelet / Topshop, $9.48

Warm California Winters

Winter days are getting warmer here in California! I can even leave the windows of the house open in the afternoons. It’s so nice to get some fresh air after the crazy freezing temperatures we’ve had here over the past several weeks! Here’s an idea of what I’ve been wearing ^. I like to keep my outfits colorful and not too casual.Β And if it’s a little chilly out, I grab a jacket and trade my flats for boots! I love California πŸ™‚
